FARC carries out retaliation attacks after learder’s death

Colombian medias informed that the south-western Cauca department,had been placed under red alert after the death of FARC’s top leader Alfonso Cano.

FARC rejected the surrender proposal made by the Colombian government after the death of their leader, instead threatening to multiply retaliation operations.

Two bombings have been reported so far, one against the police station ofPiendamo that caused one death and the injury of three police officers, and another in the city of Jambalo, where one officer was killed along with 3 civilians injured.
