The Netherlands/Terrorism: Terror suspects arrested said to be linked to Al-Shabaab

According to unconfirmed reports, one of the twelve suspects detained in an anti-terrorist operation in Rotterdam on Christmas Eve is said to be related to Mohamed Garmashago, a commander of the Al-Qaeda-linkedSomali terrorist group Al-Shabaab.

The operation in Rotterdam came after the intelligence services obtained information that a group of Somalis plotted terrorist attacks in theNetherlands in the nearest future.

Five of the suspects have been released due to lack of evidence, while the others face official charges on Monday.

It should be mentioned that earlier this week, the radical Islamistorganisation Sharia4Holland had called young Muslims living inNetherlands to wage a Jihad against their home countr
