Pakistanis among 20 held in Kampala bombings investigation

Ugandan Police announced on Sunday that they had arrested 20 people, including several Pakistanis who had a shop in a Kampala suburb, in connection with last week’s deadly blasts that left 76 people dead.

According to the Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura, one of the arrested Pakistanis had been mentioned in an email sent by a presumed Al-Shabaab spokesman as having links with the terrorists group.

Separately, three people have been killed and 20 others wounded when a suicide bomber blew himself up outside an imambargah-mosque in Sargodha in Pakistan on Sunday.
