Turkey claims 130 PKK deaths since March

Turkish Security Forces announced on Friday that at least 130 members of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) have been killed inTurkey and neighbouring northern Iraq since March.

Officials reported that 43 military personnel were killed during those operations, and 60 terrorists surrendered to Security Forces.

Ankara, the European Union and the United States consider PKK as a terrorist group. PKK has been fighting for independence in Southeast Turkey since 1984.
