Turkish police detained 22 people in various Turkish provinces on Monday for their alleged links with the terrorist group Al-Qaeda, sources said.
Reportedly, the police raids were carried out in Aksaray, Ankara and Manisa cities. Documents allegedly belonging to Al-Qaeda, as well as one unregistered gun and two shotguns were seized from the scene.
It has been reported that some of the suspects were brought to the anti-terror division of Aksaray’s police department for questioning after medical examination.
